Visited After-Eight at Markham today and bought a pound of Goa Sausages. Thought we'd cook them some other day, but the drive home itself got us all yearning for them as the aroma of real genuine sausages filled the whole car. It smelt exactly like the sausage market of Mapuca or Margao. We have cooked a few of them and must truly admit, we need not go to Goa nor ever dream of risking, getting any sausages all the way from Goa anymore. Saying these sausages were great is surely an understatement. Saiba Rosai! They were perfect!!!! You would be lucky to get such good quality sausages even in today's Goa. The meat filling was generous, rightly spiced and perfectly seasoned. I had them with the pao bread bought from Costco and it was divine! As my parents always said (God Bless their souls) "If someone can serve good Goa Sausages, everything else they serve will surely be good", The guys at After Eight are genuine culinary experts who can do Goa proud.
